This policy applies to the SMS & WhatsApp wallet of a school in the Service.
1. How it works
The school recharges its wallet online or through us. Every SMS / WhatsApp message sent through our platform gateway is charged from the wallet at the current rate before it is sent. When the balance is too low, the message is not sent. A message that fails at the provider is refunded to the wallet automatically. An SMS longer than 160 characters (70 for Hindi / Unicode) is charged as more than one SMS.
2. Rates
Rates per SMS and per WhatsApp message are shown in the software and may change at any time; a new rate applies to messages sent after the change. The balance already in the wallet is not reduced by a rate change.
3. Refunds
Wallet balance is a prepaid amount for messages. It is not refundable, not transferable to another school and cannot be withdrawn as cash, except for a duplicate or failed payment as described in the Refund Policy.
4. Content and compliance
The school is responsible for the content of its messages and for having the consent of the receivers. Messages must follow TRAI regulations (DLT registered sender ID and templates for SMS), the WhatsApp Business / Commerce policies and the law. Promotional messages to people who have not agreed are not allowed. We may block sending that breaks these rules.
5. Delivery
Delivery depends on telecom operators and WhatsApp. We do not guarantee delivery or timing to every number (for example numbers that are switched off, on DND, or not on WhatsApp).
